Description:
These tactile buttons are great for all sorts of projects. This assortment comes with 5 of each of 5 different colors for a total of 25 buttons. The colored caps are removable and the buttons fit into breadboards. 

These buttons are great, they’re color coded so you can easily determine which button works does what on your board

This buttons can be used on a breadboard for programming AVR Micros

The 10K resistor is used for pullup or pulldown
when you use this kind of tact switch, you ened either an internal or an external pullup
In some case it is usefull to use an external, that is what the resistor is used for
The pull-up or down will pull the logic line up (to 3.3V for example) or down (0V) when the button is not pushed usually
